Managing Roles
After someone is a member of an organisation, you can change their role or resend their invitation from the Users area.
Role Badges in the User Table
Every row in the user table shows a role badge — Org Admin, Admin, Operations or Campaigner — so you can see at a glance what each member can do. For what each role means, see Roles and Permissions.
Update a Member's Role
- Open the Users area.
- Open the actions menu for the member and choose Edit role (or the update action).
- Choose the new role and save.
One rule applies, from the role hierarchy:
- You can only set a role at or below your own. For example, an Admin can't promote someone to Org Admin — only an Org Admin can.
Changing the Last Org Admin
If a member is the last Org Admin of the organisation, you can't change their role to a lower one — doing so would leave the organisation without an administrator. The update modal shows a variation explaining this.
To proceed, first promote another member to Org Admin, so there's more than one. Then you can change the original member's role. See Last Org Admin protections.
Resend an Invitation
For anyone still in the invited state, you can resend their invitation from their actions menu:
- Open the actions menu for the invited member.
- Choose Resend invite.
You can resend even if the person previously declined — resending makes the pending invitation reappear in their organisation memberships.
